Water pressure problem with new showerhead?
My old showerhead worked fine but was all crusty and the knob had broken off. So I bought a new "three-setting" showerhead, but there's like NO water pressure. The massage setting is the only decent one, but the spray is not broad enough to shower with properly. The middle setting is weak, and the lowest setting is so bad that even when the head is turned all the way up, the spray barely comes to the middle of my tub.
When I installed it, the pipe tape got bunched up to one side, but there was no leaking, so I don't think that's the problem.
Help!
New shower heads are required to have a water restricter limiting then to 2 gallons per minute. In some cases you can remove it (a white plastic part) and you'll get really good pressure.
